We organise and supervise cadet training programmes to provide high quality and progressive training and support throughout their college and sea-based phases for a career in the Merchant Navy.

Organising & Supervising Cadet Training Programmes
SSTG provides sponsorship for cadets to take up their career at sea. This provides for financial support whilst training at college and at sea.
SSTG also provides a range of careers information materials for careers advisers on request.
We also manage training for existing seafarers who are actively seeking to progress their careers.

SSTG is affiliated to key maritime training providers throughout the UK ensuring a high standard of training in well-equipped and accessible centres.
Merchant Navy training organisations affiliated to SSTG
We provide a Cadet Training Management service for over 20 shipping companies operating a wide variety of different ship types and the opportunity for pursuing a wide range of careers at sea.
