Electro-technical Officer

The full 'ETO' programme is currently only offered at South Tyneside College:

Course Structure:

This is a three year, full-time sandwich course.

Entry Requirements:

A minimum of 120 UCAS points (60 points must be in Maths and/or Science based subject). Students must have GCSE Grade A-B or SCE 'S' Level 1-2 in Maths and Science, or be holders of a National Certificate / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic or similar Enginmeering subjects.

Qualifications achieved:

-   Foundation Degree in Marine Electrical / Electronic

-   STCW Certificate of Competency as Electro-Technical Officer (Operational)

Progression opportunities:

Successful completion of this programme gives entry onto B Eng (Hons) programme.
